Davy McGuire
Davy McGuire is an award winning film and theatre maker and multimedia artist who aims to create magic by mixing the mediums of film, animation, physical theatre, puppetry, video art, installation and illusionism together. Over the years Davy has created and directed a wide variety of work, ranging from animations to theatre productions, short films, music videos, quirky performances for shop windows and pop up books that come to life live in front of an audiences’ eyes as if by magic.
In 2005 he graduated with a first class honors degree in theatre from Dartington College of Arts and has since worked on productions for Cirque du Soleil, The Victoria and Albert Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum of Childhood to name a few.
Davy also writes and directs his own original performances that have toured internationally, being seen as far afield as Macau, China.
